Burning Money

John Kerry’s folks are primed that they’ve got $13 million to burn on a presidential race. Why don’t they give that money to the DCCC, DSCC and DNC if they really care about electing a Democratic president? Because it won’t be John Kerry.

Say that again! Kerry has ZERO chance. I don’t know a single person who wants to see Kerry run again.

    Crazy ambition is indeed dangerous.

I’m no Kerry fan but didn’t he get more votes than any democratic presidential candidate since LBJ? More than Clinton, more than Carter, more than Gore? Why wouldn’t he think he has a better chance if he won the primary?

Why do we dems always throw our failed candidates under the bus while the repukes revive them more often successfully (Reagan, Nixon)?

Because Kerry lost against the worst Republican in a generation in spectacular fashion.

Um, didn’t Rahm’s DCCC mild out in a few races they could have won?

  5. Oliver says:

Difference between the DCCC (which is independent of whoever happens to be running it at any given moment) and John Kerry: The DCCC won enough elections to matter.

I’m so tired of reruns, though. Gore, Edwards, Clinton, Kerry, Bush…Gingrich.
    Feh.
They all are counting on name recognition and brand loyalty.
    I say again, feh.
