Tuna Burnout

Looks like Joe Gibbs is going to outlast Parcells in the return of the old coaches.

Bill Parcells retired from coaching Monday, leaving the Dallas Cowboys after four seasons and ending a stellar career that featured three Super Bowl appearances and two championships.

None of that with the Cowboys, of course.

    He’s only 65. I give this retirement 2 years.

And of course, the last championship the Skins have won was a year after Parcells last won one.

Which means last I checked, Joe Gibbs hasn’t fared much better than Parcells just did.

    GravyPan,

At least we can make it out of Round 1.

Do you have to rub it in?

Between Parcells and the idiot that Randy Galloway refers to as “Eldorado” Owens, it’s hard to be a Cowboys fan.

Still, I don’t hate Parcells…on one condition. If he takes another coaching job somewhere else after un-retiring, then he’d better watch out for heavy objects being hurled down from the stands when he comes to visit.

With the sports media always on its knees for you talking about “America’s Team”? I think not. Cowboy fans deserve the little grief they get, simply for being silly enough to be Cowboys fans. :)
