During the exposure of the Foley scandal, CREW and the FBI got into a battle over when e-mails were received and how they were disclosed. The mainstream press unthinkingly repeated the FBI spin, when in fact they were lies.

    Add to it that the lies were designed and did provide a political spin to this scandal for Republicans running for reelection in November.

    It’s clear then that the FBI was playing partisan politics and those involved should be fired.

    And the wingnuts will either forget this or spin it to say the investigation itself was partisan in 10, 9, 8….
