Snow, Finally

Maryland got its first snow of the winter season today. Not much, but enough to be visible and cause the weiner dog‘s tracks to show up. I wish it had happened earlier, like around Christmas when it was 70 freaking degrees outside.

    I’m a courier. On foot. I gotta work downtown Baltimore in that snow…and given the unreliability of the MTA buses, I’ll prolly have to walk 2/3 mile to the subway tomorrow morning…

    Well, first….

    DA BEARS!!!!!!

    (Not like I’m from Chicago, but I’ve been a baltimoron long enough to root for (a) the Ravens or (b) whoever is playing the Colts :-)

    Second, I have ordered a Meyer lemon tree for delivery in March. Hardy to zone 7 and we are now solidly in zone 7 per the USDA. Are you worried about global warming yet?

    Oh, right….global warming doesn’t actually MEAN warming…sometimes its warmer, but sometimes its colder too….

    Oh yea, it snowed in Malibu too…..
