Did you actually read those links yourself? Here’s some important snippets:

So, this isn’t “news”, per se, it’s PJM mindlessly repeating a propaganda briefing tailored to them by CENTCOM. Here’s an important clue, Frank: Nobody else is reporting this – not Fox, WND, not anyone. This should be a hint that it’s no more factually-based than Mike Ledeen’s declaring everyone in AQ to be dead or whatever.

Oh, and the other story you link to? The one from IraqTheModel? The one referred to in the PJM article? It doesn’t portray the potential evac of AQ out of Baghdad to be a Good Thing. Why? Again, I suggest you read the article:
“Actually the people in Diyala have every reason to worry about such migration of terror cells because in fact even without reading what those eyewitnesses and officials had to say one would expect insurgents and terrorists to choose hiding in Diyala rather than other provinces until the security operations are through.”

In other words, exactly the criticism many people actually experienced in military affairs & insurgent ops have levelled at this poorly-thought-out escalation plan – the bad guys will simply leave the places we send troops to & wreak havoc and terror elsewhere until we either pull back out or chase them.

I always thought Jeb had outstanding qualities to be president; in fact during the 1990’s I saw him as more of an intellectual force than his brother. But Dubya beat him to the punch.
