Joe Lieberman, the independent senator from Connecticut (he was not elected or ran for office as a Democrat) can’t stop lying about Iraq.

    God you guys hate Lieberman.

    Anyway, the guy at American Prospect is full of shinola. Susan Collins speaks of several talks with individuals so therefore the assumption is that she and Joe Lieberman attended each and every exact meeting, stayed for the same length of time and that (because progressives hate Lieberman), any seeming contradiction is conclusive evidence Lieberman ONLY lied.

    Why not call Joe Lieberman a Republican? He is not independent, and we all know who elected him. At least, we can call him “the Republican elected” CT senator.
