Good old Porlock — I meant the Democratic Senator who got his microphone turned off.

While that story may have made headlines over at DU, I never heard it before.

Not only is that irrelevant to this thread and my point, I don’t care who he or she is.

And, who are these people who can’t comment on anything for God knows how long, and then pop up like prairie dogs to fire at Frank?

Sensenbrenner taking his gavel and going home before the Democrats get to ask any questions during a proceeding certainly isn’t repulsive, is it?
Nor is turning off a Democratic senator’s microphone during another proceeding.

Oh yes, and that senator surrounding himself with children during a press conference so he wouldn’t get asked about Mark Foley was just so upstanding, wasn’t it, Frank?

Surrounding yourself with your family while you participate in an historic occasion (first woman speaker ever) and executing the duties of your office is certainly repulsive indeed.

But that’s just me.

Zython illustrates his ignorance of the Catholic religion. Catholics are not under shabbes rules.

The Roman Catholic Church is, however, very strict about not advocating abortion, or facilitating it by passing legislation to make it free or easy to obtain.

I also found it personally repulsive for to call the House to order surrounded by all those children and grandchildren, when she has tried so hard in the past to see to it that poorer women all over the country are discouraged by her and her party from doing the same.

But that’s just me.
