I Saw This Movie Already

When I have seen the poster and commercial for Hilary Swank’s upcoming movie Freedom Writers, all I could think to myself was that I had seen this movie already. Except that when I saw it it was Michelle Pfeiffer, Edward James Olmos, Morgan Freeman or of course Sidney Poitier in the lead.

    Well, if they can dust off Superman every once in a while, they might as well dust off and update “To Sir, with Love” as well…

    Matthew Perry starred in the cable movie The Ron Clark Story last year.

    Admittedly, it was not a high school, but it was still the same movie.

    How about Antonio Banderas in Take the Lead? Granted it had a dance angle, but again basically the same movie.
