    “Whats wrong with the picture?”

    Oi vay!

  4. Former NYPD chief Kerik pleads guilty
“Former police commissioner Bernard Kerik, whose rise from beat cop to nominee for Homeland Security head was derailed by ethics questions, dodged prison Friday in a plea bargain by admitting he took $165,000 in gifts from a company attempting to do business with the city.”

  5. Nimrod Gently says:

    Jeremy Bowen, no!

  6. Dugger says:

So, again: whats wrong with the picture. There’s an ugly hint of homophobia here. Do you mean to tell me there is a major politician alive who hasn’t had his picture taken with some crook or scumbag? Do progressives want to make it a crime to have your picture taken with a bad guy?Is that whats bothering you, bunkie?

Be careful. Chickens come home to roost.

  7. I know you’ve run dry when you run to the Clinton conspiracy well. Kerik is a crook, pal of Giuliani, who was pushed up the NYPD ranks by Giuliani and picked by Giuliani for Bush as DHS secretary. It’s not just a picture of them.

Are you saying Rudy’s gay? Hmmm. Come to think about it I haven’t ever heard him denying it.

  9. Dugger says:

Again. Look at my pictures. Look at the Rudy pictures.

    WHATS WRONG WITH THE PICTURE?

  10. Nimrod Gently says:

The two pricks in the foreground.

  11. S says:

    NICE one, Nimrod!

  12. Wilbur says:

Dugger, in case your really interested, here is the difference between your pictures and the Rudy picture:

Your pictures are just politicians in the same frame with a bad guy, in most cases a bad guy they didn’t know personally and didn’t know was bad at the time.

The point of the Rudy picture, in contrast, is not “here’s Rudy with a bad guy”, it’s “here’s Rudy with HIS bad guy,” i.e. the man he had the close personal relationship (no snark intended) with, whom he boosted up the ladder to Commish, whom he hired into his consulting firm, and who turned out to be a disgusting rotten egg.

This picture says “Rudy was that close to the guy and he didn’t know what a fink he was?” That suggests that Rudy himself is a bit finky, or at least that his judgment is questionable.

  13. Dugger says:

I hear you Wilbur, respect your opinion and totally disagree. Its still ‘guilt by association’ and I would think we are now beyond that tripe.

And do you doubt that many good liberals haven’t had close relationships with people of questionable ethical character. Come now. I’ll spare you the names. You know some.

  14. Nimrod Gently says:

Once said dubiosity of character becomes public, most people disassociate themselves, though.

  15. Adam Herman says:

Ah, guilt by association again. Oliver, you’re a blogger. Uphold the medium by attacking Rudy on the issues rather than this sleaze. There is no evidence Rudy knew anything about Kerik’s corruption.

When are you going to graduate to gay-baiting?

  16. Conservative Lady says:

Figures. Minorities hate him, because they don’t know how to control themselves. Of course, they will always say something negative about Giuliani. That’s why the city is looking awesome. He cleaned up the streets and made NYC the safest place to live. And NO, it’s not thanks to Bloomberg, it was Giuliani we can thank.

  17. maverick357 says:

first i would like to pin out not just minorities hated him he was a hippocrite , he wage war against pot smokers , liberals who oppose his quality of life , and blacks and hispanics , not just he cleaned up , nothing is cleaned up , he just made policies that were extremely focus on them , the only people saying that he cleaned up new york are rich conservatives and mainstreamers , look how dramatically real estate gone up , and most people that were incarcerated were pot heads and people who had petty misdemeanor warrants
