Leave it to a car wreck of a President like George Bush to look at the current world situation and decide that it isn’t his poorly thought out and executed policies that are at fault, but that the real source of it all is the military not being big enough.
Look, if the U.S. military wasn’t busy babysitting Iraq and trying to build a brand new nation that was never there while getting killed – there would be no military stretched thin. In fact, we’d be ahead in the global fight against terror instead of at the mercy of tyrants.

The obscene size of the US military may well increase terrorism. How? Well, the US accounts for half of all military spending in the world. It would be suicide for any country to attack the US military. A big military like China might resist an invasion with all the other advantages of playing defense, but otherwise, the US will win any other direct confrontation. So, if you’re pissed off at the US, what do you do? Attack it without attacking the military.
The real issue is that there are folks pissed at the US. You deal with them and their issues. Some are legitimate, like the Israeli-Palestinian situation. Some are just wankers, like Osama bin Laden. The wankers piggyback onto the legitimate issues and get others to agree with them as a result. Deal with the legitimate issues so the wankers can’t recruit folks using them, and arrest or kill the wankers.
The guy’s bad decisions have already killed over half a million Iraqis, Rico. So Bush deserves his bashing, and you might want to consider finding something else to lol about.
