Debbie Schlussel, if you don’t know, is sort of a trailer park version of Ann Coulter. Trashier, but more so. She’s now pushing the theory that Barack Obama is a Muslim manchurian candidate, ready to hand America over to Al Qaeda apparently as soon as he gets some power. But once again, I applaud the far right not cloaking it’s beliefs and intentions – just tell us what you really believe.

The jerk at Daily Kos is more histrionic than you, Oliver. Once again, you pick up on one person’s opinion, and act like she’s the Drum Major for the RNC.
Let me make this clear for you. It doesn’t matter if Obama is a Muslim, or a Pesbyterian, or a Klingon — he is a politically wet behind the ears liberal.
He will not be running for President in 2008.
He will not be President in 2008.
He will not be a threat to Hillary Clinton.
In fact, Hillary Clinton may not run for President in 2008.
So let’s take our Buspar, relax, and get into a warm bath, and contemplate the real world.

Put it this way. If you don’t think she’s your leader, then you should have no trouble denouncing her without fear of retribution.

Anyone else profoundly disturbed and distressed at the fact that the assertion “all Muslims are our enemy, Islam in general is evil, if someone is a Muslim or connected with Muslims in any way they must not be trusted and should be shunned forever” is taken for granted in right-wing discourse like this these days?
