I think that if Obama runs, it will become a 3-person race (Clinton, Edwards, Obama). At that point I think that it's a jump ball, although I'd give the edge to Obama. With Hillary soaking up the centrist oxygen, I don't see how any of the other candidates are going to get any traction.

I think Bayh got some very good advice and he took it, which speaks well of his sense of realism. I actually respect him a lot more now.

Bayh seemed like a nice guy and a good senator but, kinda dlc for my taste.
I'm still hoping my senator runs. If he does he will get the nomination and crush clinton.
Well, we will all know when Obama makes his decision soon.

Thanks for the link. Your speed has allowed me to sell on Intrade before this news has affected the market.

As for how to feel about this: I 'm a little mixed. Bayh isn't as progressive as I'd like and on certain issues I think he's downright conservative. However, I think he could make a decent President. He certainly has the experience to lead, both two terms of executive experience as Governor of Indiana and two terms as the Hoosier state's junior Senator. Plus, he's certainly electable. I wouldn't be suprised to see Bayh as a running-mate were Edwards or Obama to win the nomination, in order to balance their percieved lack of experience. That's all assuming this story is true, of course.
