I didn't think that the original GL's creator was even still around. Technically he created the Alan Scott Lantern (he actually outlived Hal Jordan's creator), so his epitaph should be: "...and I shall shed my light over dark evil. For the dark things cannot stand the light, The light of the Green Lantern!" He had a good run. I didn’t think that the original GL’s creator was even still around.
