So…

Now that that’s dead and buried officially, how about those Orioles/Nationals/Wizards/Capitals?

SIGH.

Please, somebody, fix this. January will be 15 years and counting. The upside is I finally got Comcast to hook up my new high definition tv, so I got to see the ‘Skins lose in AMAZING resolution (aka "That interception looks like it happened right here in my living room!!").

As a Niners fan, I’ve at least got the future to look forward to – some offseason healing & a solid defensive draft, and SF will be in the playoff hunt next year. The 49ers QB, first-choice RB, and TE are all 1st & 2nd year, so there’s a good core for a long time.

    The ‘Skins … uh, hmmm.

    Yeah. Good luck with that.

Oh, that and Niners fans have the Raiders across the Bay to mock, and I’m thinking that particular fun has got a long, bright future.

    two words for you:

    Joe Gibbs

Man was good three decades ago. He’s behind the time. His offensive scheme belongs in the fifties. he’s a Hall of Famer, not a capable cutrrent head coach.

And I like him. He’s a good Nascar opwner. Thats all he should be doing.

  3. His offensive scheme worked ok last year, then this year they reworked it. The problem ain’t Joe Gibbs.

The silver lining is that the Skins helped keep the Iggles alive for one more week, although much more good luck will have to intervene on their behalf from now on.

  5. Dugger says:

Team has a lot of talent and a great history. Gibbs believes in an old fashioned offense. Modern D schemes can stop him.

  6. Oliver says:

Except that the current offense by Al Saunders is the most modern in the league, and in fact Gibbs old fashioned counter trey gives the best modern defenses in the league heartburn especially when Portis/Betts are running it. Get your facts right.

  7. Dugger says:

    yes sir!

  8. Wayne says:

I took some solace in the fact that the Cowboys got beat by the Saints like they owed them money. That was nice.

    Fear the Purple Birds, gentlemen.

Dude – your counting the O and the Nats, snap out of it and jump on the Ravens’ bandwagon. Air Mcnair is rounding into form just in time the the run to the Super Bowl.
