There is a reasonable probability that it is something he will never wake up to. Not because it will never happen but because he will never wake up.

  2. Diamond LeGrande says:

Damn, z, beat me to it.

  3. Quaker in a Basement says:

Well, he just got the GWB vote of confidence. I’d say the clock is ticking.

Did he get the “heckuva job” vote of confidence that Brown got, or the “stay the course” vote of confidence which was the last thing Rummy heard before the axe fell?

  5. RAD says:

Um… Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki isn’t President of Iraq… Jalal Talabani is.

    Or am I missing something?

  6. Quaker in a Basement says:

Oooh! RAD got you that time, OW! He noticed that you made a boo-boo that’s entirely irrelevant to the point of your post!

    And you forgot Poland.

  7. RAD says:

Actually, I’m a frequent reader of Mr. Willis and enjoy his blog very much. The error in question is not up to his usual standards and I wasn’t sure if there was something which I was missing in the post, so I noted it.

Thanks so much for your reasonable, inclusive and insightful response, QiaB. Might I say that you seem awfully reactionary for a supposed Quaker?

And I’m sure that making such an obvious and egregious error wouldn’t be cause enough to question the veracity of a conservative-leaning site nor open up a blog to unwarranted criticism of a valid point it made – whatever it was that that point was.
