The NFL should find a way to work out some agreement with Reebok as to allow more coaches to dress up if they choose to do so.

Maybe Reebok should start making suits.

The NBA coaches all wear suits and ties. The suit is handy for throwing at refs or into the stands.

The NFL should let coaches wear whatever the hell they want, within reason. If you want to evoke Lombardi and Landry go for it (I note that both coaches who did so WON their games). If you want to look like a schlub in a team hoodie that’s OK too. Whatever the guy who pays your checks will allow.

Just my opinion.

To me, the only sport where it looks natural for the coach/manager to wear a uniform is baseball. It would look silly for a guy in suit to walk out to the mound for a pitching change.

However, can anybody picture Jeff Van Balki walking around in shorts and a tank-top?

In addition, the NFL coaches look absurd wearing hoodies and warm-up suits.

I liked Nolan’s reasoning behind wanting to wear a suit. It did give him an authoritarian look reminiscient of Tom Landry and Vince Lombardi.

I want to see a Major League Baseball manager where a suit, ala Connie Mack from back in the day.

I always thought that was pretty sweet. What other sport does the coach where the team uniform? It’s silly if you think about it.

Scobee won my fantasy game for me single-handedly. I honestly think you dress the part. If it suits you(haha…silence) then throw on the suit and if you want to look like a shlub like Belichek then great.
