Stem Cells To Cure Cancer?

It’s possible. At the very least we ought to be able to research it.

Uh- did you even read that article, Oliver?
In this case stem cells cause cancer- not cures cancer. The ability to isolate and destroy stem cells would be the cure in this case.
Just because the article says the words “stem cells” doesn’t mean it makes your case. The vast majority of stem cell research is not even remotely controversial. Thus this particular discovery which obviously is being researched.
The only controversial type is the kind that uses embryonic stem cells (which interestinly enough have also been found to cause tumors vs. actual treatments that have been developed using adult and cord blood stem cells.)
You can research it all you want. The article is discussing stem cells taken from tumors, not embryonic stem cells.
The idea is to study this stuff, not just throw ‘em out (the Republican position).
And obviously this “stuff” is being studied or this article would never have been written.
Just admit it. This is not one of your smarter posts.
(By the way- I doubt you could find a single Republican that is against “stem cell research” in the generic sense. This article does nothing to support your partisan desires on this issue.)
Wow- Everybody stayed pretty quiet on this one.
