    Let’s first find out if Pelosi is dumb enough to make Alcee Hastings head of the Intelligence Committee.

    Didn’t you promise to hold the Democrats’ feet to the fire to make sure they were different from Republicans? You’re already getting complacent.

    You know, conservatives keep yowling about Hastings, but I’ve yet to see one actually speak to his performance as a committee member.

    Major ethics issues are disqualifying, especially when a party has pledged to be the cleanest ever.

    Now if HAstings was the senior guy, it would make sense. It takes effort to replace a rep with seniority.

    But Hastings doesn’t have seniority. Harman does. WHich means that if Pelosi names him Chairman, she went out of her way to put a corrupt politician in place of an honest one.

    Bad signal.

    This may or may not true but I never said it. You just invented it.
