I think Chris Bowers has good intentions in this post, but I know for a fact that Sen. Kerry didn’t want to contest the Ohio results in 2004.

OW, please, don’t hold back. Tell the whole story or, if you already have, give us a link.
I know that Kerry didn’t contest the Ohio results. That’s a fact. But I have no idea what went on in that campaign on election day or before.
That’s a story I’d like to know. I wonder why two or three insiders haven’t gone to market with it.
I can’t say much more to it than that but I know for a definite fact from someone who absolutely positively 100% knows this that Kerry did not want to contest.
It’s been two years and, despite what he or any of his supporters might believe, Kerry is not going to be the party’s nominee again. I’d really like to know the inside story behind the major decisions of the Kerry/Edwards campaign, including but not limited to the question of whether to contest Ohio results.
I’d like to know exactly what happened in the days immediately before, then during, then after the Swiftboat episode, for example.
We can all learn from these stories, I think. Plus I just like political drama.
WTF is wrong with Carville? He’s a one-man “terrorist surveillance program”. Who needs wiretaps of Democrats when he’s around?
