Maryland’s own Tom Schaller who argued that the path to success for Democrats is making the GOP a regional southern party. Looking at yesterday’s results is like a roadmap for 2008 (plus Florida).

    I believe that it is time to depart all racial characterizations other than human.

    The new fight should revolve around a consciousness. The consciousness of the past six years has been characterized by every divisive human element that could be brought to the table. The lesson to be learned from that is that it doesn’t work when the intentions are ignoble. It seems that the better angels of the Republican heart were hijacked for callous ends. There will be a price to pay for that.

    So, please,Oliver, dear sir, let’s us recognize that we both may share a remote Eastern Shore ancestor. Mine were driven out of Maryland into Kaintuck in the 1700s for the same reason yours were held in bondage.

    That was then, this is now. I affirm two human characteristics, intelligence and intent.
