Killing Blow

Those wacky kids at the DNC and their hijinks:

Clearly the “Defeatocrat” “Cut And Runners” have invaded the Army Times

An editorial to be published Monday in independent publications that serve the four main branches of the U.S. military will call for President Bush to replace Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

“Basically, the editorial says, it’s clear now, from some of the public statements that military leaders are making, that he’s lost the support and respect of the military leadership,” said Robert Hodierne, senior managing editor for the publications’ parent company Army Times Publications.

“That they’re starting to go public with that now, with their disagreements, added up with all of the other missteps we believe he’s made, that it’s time for him to be replaced,” Hodierne.

Army Times Publications publishes the Army Times, Navy Times, Air Force Times and the Marine Corps Times.

The Republican Response?

Republicans seized on a drop in the unemployment rate to assert on Friday that tax cuts were invigorating the economy, highlighting just four days before the election an issue that party strategists are counting on to offset bad news about the war.

That’s right America, almost 3,000 people dead in Iraq and the administration wants to “stay the course” but you should ignore that because a bunch of rich guys could a bit richer.

Liberal media, duh. They will say ANYTHING because they hate the troops and American. Rumsfeld should get a medal of freedom. Did he get one of those already?

Dugger and dr pedro know better and will justify/rationalize this story as soon as they’re finished breathing into the brown paper bag that used to disguise pedro’s Scotch bottle.

How did the estate tax cut create jobs?

  4. Robbie says:

I heard about the unemployment report on CNN. Do you know what they were talking about as an after affect? Inflation and raising interest rates to keep it under control.

    Don’t you love Whack-a-Mole?

Why do Republicans keep crowing about unemployment. If unemployment was a high in “middle america” as it is in my community, then truly George Bush would be impeached.
Isn’t it enlightening how the African American community is always marginalized and trivialized to the point that any of these AA candidates haven’t mentioned this? Truly amazing.

  6. Dugger says:

The Army Times etc is an independent Gannett run paper. A liberal entity. That they should take a leftist position is hardly surprising.

Can anybody document a real mistake Rummy has made – as opposed to some ex general disagreeing with what he did. The truth is that the/any SecDef don’t make that much difference. I thought so.

And don’t worry, if your candidate gets elected President you can put one of the numerous military haters on the the left in as SecDef. How about Durbin. De could clear out all the Nazis in DOD. Or the Haunted Tree. He could get rid of all the idiots (except in his mind I guess that would leave nobody). Or Murtha. His idea of a major logistics base on the Moon to support soon to follow Iraq surrender is at least unique.
