Black Conservatives Embrace The Klan

Connerlyklan

This, friends, is why black conservatives do not have any support within the black community. Ward Connerly, black conservative and founder of the "American Civil Rights Institute", is backing an initiative in Michigan to end affirmative action. Also supporting the initiative is the Ku Klux Klan.

Ward Connerly, black conservative, welcomes the Klan’s support without equivocation.

For those of you who may have forgotten, the Ku Klux Klan is a terrorist organization responsible for the deaths of literally thousands of Americans, specifically black Americans. A major leader of the black right is now allied with them.

Could this be any clearer?

I’m not certain how to take this.

    1) One of the worst cases of “guilt by association” I’ve ever seen.

    2) Wow, Ward Connerly’s siding with Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV) now?

  2. Yes, but he didn’t say any of that. He was as clear as day.

For the record, I submitted the second comment three minutes after the first. I have NO idea how it got time-stamped an hour later.

More and more of these “house nigga” coming out.

The GOP exposes them all. How you be Afro-american and be a member of a party that obviously holds you in the highest contempt?

And this fool “welcomes” the Klan’s support?

There aint a hell hot enough for these demons.

P.S. My apology to anyone offended by the house nigga comment. But we in the black community use this term to identify other blacks that actively work to worsen the lives of their own people. And this fool is now on the list.

  6. Robbie says:

Damn. I thought watching some of my fellow Latinos support Marie Waldron and the Minutemen in Escondido was political suicide. That’s just nuts.

  7. Jay Tea says:

    OK, third thought:

    3) Scrap the first two. This Connerly’s a bigger dolt than I thought possible.

The proper response would be something like: “Politics makes for strange bedfellows. The Klan is actually on the correct side of an issue, much like a broken clock is right twice a day. I welcome their support, but only in the sense that it removes one group of idiots from the potential opposition. Given my druthers, though, I wish they’d simply stay out of this issue — and pretty much any other issue, for that matter.”

You left out “God bless them” Jay Tea.

  9. SquarePeg says:

    A textbook case of self-hatred.

Even his “behind the curtain” racist backers might tell him to not be so obvious. His fellow black conservatives who back anything that is not black as long as it keeps the donations pouring in would go this far. Or maybe not.

What little soul he had left is now completely gone.

    Anyone here seen “Shock Corridor”?

  11. freD says:

Why is it that everything these Republicans in power say and do has a clear and obvious benefit for the top 5% of Americans but the other 95% are expected to learn all this theoretical economic and moral values shit and then need blind faith in a positive outcome for us?

I swear the next rich guy who cuts in front of me in line with some lame BS about how I’m too dumb to understand the reasons and benefits is gonna wind up on his ass.

Someone call Jerry Springer, we have a black Klansman. And he’s not a Dave Chappelle character.

Are you kidding? This is the Klan we’re talking about. I don’t care how much they support any of the causes I do, they’re still racist pigs. They could support separation of church and state (for example) till their blue in the face, I’d still never shake hands with the motherfuckers.

The enemy of my enemy is not always my friend.

  14. factcheck says:

Shorter JT: I heart the Klan if they agree with me, and they do!

  15. Nimrod Gently says:

To be fair to him, he was supposedly speaking for Conninerly, as a hypothetical illustration of what he should have said in response. It’s not necessarily what he believes.

However, it’s accurate to say that the proper response to the KKK on anything is this: “Fuck you, fuck your friends, fuck your family, and fuck anyone who knows you.”

  16. fd10801 says:

Nothing could be stupider than to say either that if a person supports the same thing as the KKK, they are “allied” with them (after all, most liberals are anti – Catholic, as is the KKK); or to say that anything that the KKK might support, we should all oppose (e.g., local school board autonomy, or no national medical care).
Opposing the KKK is like favoring Mom and apple pie. It takes zero brain, and less nerve.

Vote Republican and we can get rid of blacks, terrorists, and any one else fucking up this country!
