GOP: Those Ni**ers Are Always Bitching About Something

Tony Snow, White House spokesperson and infamous for his "tar baby" comments says that those blacks are always trying to play the race card.

At the same time, let’s look at the amazing strides being taken by the black Republicans:

But that was last year’s story. In May
of this year, Jennette Bradley, the African American state treasurer of
Ohio, lost her primary election to a lowly, white county auditor. In
August, Rev. Keith Butler—a longtime Republican activist and
officeholder in Detroit—lost the Michigan Senate primary to Mike
Bouchard, a fair-skinned county sheriff from white-flight Oakland
County. Both of the party’s black gubernatorial candidates, Ohio’s Ken
Blackwell and Pennsylvania’s Lynn Swann, are trailing their white
Democrat opponents by anywhere from 10 to 20 points. Maryland Lt. Gov.
Michael Steele, a candidate for Senate, is trailing white Democrat Ben
Cardin, a congressman who defeated former NAACP President Kweisi Mfume
in their August primary.

While Wallace B. Jefferson, chief justice of the state of Texas,
and the auditor of Vermont (his name is Randy Brock, by the way) are
expected to cruise to re-election, the rest of the GOP’s Republican
dream team is going out with a whimper. And there’s a bitter twist:
Because Blackwell is leaving his job as secretary of state to make the
statehouse run, there will almost certainly be fewer black Republicans
in office after the election than there were when the "Year of the
Black Republican" kicked off.

Can someone possibly put two and two together and connect Tony Snow’s comment to the poor showing among black Republicans?

But then, what do we know? According to the Republican party blacks are too dumb to figure this stuff out.

“Mr. Snow, why are black Republican office-holders almost all appointees?”

  2. Cyrus The Virus says:

Well, gee, Oliver, according to you, black voters are too dumb to figure out that you can still vote even if you have unpaid parking tickets, so maybe Tony Snow is reading your blog.

  3. Wilbur says:

Free clue for Cyrus: people of any race, creed or religion might be fooled by deliberate disinformation. Republican tokenism targets a particular race for exploitation and manipulation.

See the difference? I know it’s a little over your head, boy, but think reeeeeal hard and get back to us.

  4. Marty says:

Ah, yes massa Wilbur. I’s sees ya point. Dem black folk over der on the republican porch are just der fo sho.

Der aint no way dey wood go ober der on dey own. Dey must have been tricked to become da Secretary of State, and da National Security Advisor, and da Secretary of Education and all dem unimpotent jobs. We needs ta stay on our own side.

We’d just better think better, just like you tells us to and stay in the background and wait for da white politicians to come to da church come election time and tell us how great they are for us black folk.

  5. dr pedro says:

    amen brother Marty….

  6. Nimrod Gently says:

    Oh, for the love of…

  7. Molly, NYC says:

Marty – Do you know of any black Republicans currently holding elected office above the local level? Senators, congressmen, state-wide offices? Not appointees. People who had to actually run for office and get a bunch of Republicans–who are pretty much all white–to vote for them.

Gee, me either. Why do you think that is?

And by the way: Whatever her title or qualifications, Condi Rice’s opinion doesn’t count for spit with this administration compared to, say, Rumsfield’s, despite the fact that he can’t find his saggy ass with both hands and a map, because Rumsfield has a saggy white (and male) ass. It’s why Powell walked.

  8. JK says:

    >>Dem black folk over der on the republican porch are just der fo sho.

Yes, that’s right. They are there, just for show.

Do you think that the appointment of Condi Rice as NSA or SOS, or heck…even the election to the Presidency, someday…suddenly makes you sensitive to race issues?

What does your cute parody have to do with health care, minimum wage, poverty, jobs, unemployment, discrimination, education, and the environment?

Oh..in case your feeble GOP mind can’t keep up…as is usually the case, these are “level playing field” issues that typically affect minorities more than us white folks, simply by virtue of our skin color.

Dumb bastards. Man…it is truly ponderous how stupid you people are.

    Learn. Just try.

    JK

  9. StarkyLuv says:

Why do you guys feed the pathetic trolls?

Think about it, their lives are so pitiful that the hang out on sites of the hated opposition just to spew non-sensical crap.

Why even dignify a loser like that?

  10. Nimrod Gently says:

Honestly, the Steppin Fetchit bollocks doesn’t help you, even sarcastically.

  11. JD says:

Oliver, after reading Snow’s actual words, in context, you have once again done a masterful job of taking what somebody said, and changing it to what you wanted to hear, and then proceeding to argue with the position that the speaker did not originally take. Welll done.

  12. factcheck says:

It must be tough for black cons like Marty to continually have to justify support for a party that puts up for election known racists like George Allen and uses racist imagery (Bob Corker’s drums) to get their white candidates elected.

Maybe they’ll accept you Marty. Someday.

  13. Dugger says:

Hey, Molly how many blacks in Democratic party leadership positions? You know, the Democratic millionaire white party elite has the power to put blacks in leadership positions. How many have they chosen for major positions? Looking forward to your embarrasssing answer.

  14. Nimrod Gently says:

You can’t answer everything with “BUT THE DEMOCRATS”, Dugger.

    Not that that stops you.
