Michael Steele & Sean Hannity

Maryland Democratic party chair Terry Lierman on Michael Steele campaigning with Sean Hannity:

Steele couldn’t have found anyone better than Sean Hannity to capture the spirit of his campaign: a Bush Administration shill who will say anything to get more Republicans elected. Hannity is practically Secretary of Misinformation for the Bush White House. The only thing Steele and Hannity want to change in Washington is the size of the Republican majority. Sean Hannity and Michael Steele are from the Bush wing of the Bush party and to say otherwise just highlights Michael Steele’s campaign of deception.

    Do you genuinely believe this whole “OMG DA LIBRULS IS SAYIN DAT STEELE IS PRETENDING HE IS NOT A REPUBLICAN” spin you’ve been putting out? Because at best it’s a gross oversimplification to the point of inaccuracy. Just saying is all.

    Michael Steele has run a concerted campaign to snooker people that he isn’t a Republican. Those are the facts. He only goes GOP when he needs to bring in the bucks or scare up base votes.
