There is alot of experience and SUCESSFUL negotiations that Governor Richardson has to offer. His resume, accomplishments and character is exactly what this country needs at this point in history.

He is a moderate and extremely sucessful negotiator, but stands firm when necessary.

In this time of extremism running rampant, Richardson is exactly the type of president we need.

My best friend, and this girl is like my sister, we talk about EVERYTHING…well she is very highly placed in the Richardson campaign. She has spent a lot of time with him, has heard the rumors, but frankly if there was an issue with women SHE would have seen it, and there is NOTHING there. I think because he is an attractive and powerful man, and his wife is not a big spotlight seeker, the allegations and rumors are bound to happen, but I believe she is telling me the truth.

Oh and Richardson won with almost 70% of the vote. That’s a pretty huge mandate.

I think that’s the basic reason his candidacy seems to have gained no traction. He had gravitas. Right now, it’s gone. He can get it back, though. But if he does, it will take time.

His wife is also somebody I’ve heard good things about too but yes, there are those rumors about womanizing.

What I didn’t like was him dodging Bill Maher when he asked him about if both of his parents are Hispanic, how did he get the name “Richardson”?

Not that it matters in the long run, but I’m curious about that too. I have issues with people that don’t accept their heritage. You don’t have to be “proud” in the obnoxious “My race is the BEST!” sense, but don’t deny it.

Aside from that, he has credentials out the wazoo, he’s intelligent, can express his thoughts without sounding like a liar or buffoon and actually has some good ideas.

I put him #2 behind Feingold. Hopefully it comes down to him and Feingold. (I’m not keen AT ALL on Hilary. Just too calculating and devisive.)
