I predict that the Redskins will beat the Colts. Not because the Redskins are a better team – they clearly aren’t – but it’s the sort of game the Redskins win when they’re having a season like this one. They will win, probably with a lot of yards from Clinton Portis. I’m certainly glad I have Peyton Manning on my fantasy team because he’ll probably torch the Skins sorry defensive backs for 10,000 yards. But I still see the Skins winning.
I really wish Gibbs would yank Brunell though. Last year was clearly an aberration, and he’s back to the suck – big time.
UPDATE: Did I say the Redskins would win? You heard me wrong. I said the Redskins would lead going into half time. There’s no way they could win this game, not with lame-ass Mark Brunell at QB.
The only way the Colts lose this one is if they don’t show up to play. That’s been known to happen occasionally especially when the better team has to face a tough opponent the next week. In this case the Colts have to play on the road in Denver next week and New England the following week. So there is a sliver of a chance we steal one.
Can I have some of what your smoking?
Pessimistic about Dems in November but convinced that the Skins will beat the Colts. Okaaaaaay….
You truly thought that the Skins had a prayer in this one ? The colts shut down Portis, and had Brunell under pressure all day long. This loss had very little to do with the QB, and much to do with losing the battle at the line of scrimmage, and letting the Colts walk up and down the field.
