No Furor Here

Frankly I’ve been pleased that Dems aren’t getting upset over the GOP’s hail mary ad. In fact, CNN reports to the contrary, most of the Democratic response I’ve seen is just right (for a change). The ad is a joke. The party of 9/11, Katrina, and Iraq is attempting to say that they’re the ones to be trusted with our security? And their evidence for that is the mass-murdering terrorist they let get away? If I didn’t know better I’d say the person who greenlighted this ad was a Democratic mole working for the RNC.

Furor?
Here’s the “furor” CNN is talking about:
Why, you can almost hear the sizzle of hurt and anger, can’t ya?
I was quite pleased with the new DNC ad that I saw highlighted on RawStory–Bush saying over and over again “Stay the course,” contrasted with bills that the GOP has let slip through the cracks.
Sigh…I’ll never understand why reminding people about the terrorist you let get away is supposed to be good electoral strategy. Unfortunately, a large percentage of Americans are dumb enough to not think it through all the way. Fortunately, the schtick finally appears to be getting old.
