MSM: Please Don’t Be Tough On Republican Crooks

Once again the lapdog media is in action. MSNBC’s Norah O’Donnell begs the Democrats to pretty please handle the Republicans with kid gloves if they win back the House.

On the October 18 edition of MSNBC News Live, MSNBC chief Washington correspondent Norah O’Donnell asked Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-CA) to go "on the record" with a "promise" that Democrats "will not issue tens or hundreds of subpoenas to the White House when it comes to Katrina, Iraq, and a number of issues" that would "make the president’s final two years in office a living hell." O’Donnell also baselessly suggested that such oversight would "mean that nothing gets done in Washington."

That’s right, kids, when Republicans rubber stamp a Republican president – things are getting done. When Democrats provide oversight, it’s gridlock. Once again, we are playing by those ever-so-friendly IOKIYAR (It’s Okay If You’re A Republican) rules.

  1. Republicans really don’t understand how deeply anti-liberal and anti-democrat the “liberal” media can be. Well, hopefully over the next couple of years, they’ll begin to see what we’re talking about.

I get a kick out of the oh-so-OBVIOUSLY Republican talking heads like O’Donnell, Candy Crowley, Kyra Phillips, Andrea Mitchell etc. (why did I just name all women? I don’t know).

They literally look ILL reporting negative GOP news. Especially Candy Crowley. My God, she looks as if she’s about to weep when she reports on Republican scandals.

And then you have the “King”, Wolf Blitzer. He comes thisclose to spinning these news items to favor Republicans. Thank the heavens for the “crotchety old man” Jack Cafferty balancing out Wolf’s spin.

Sanchez to O’Donnell: Well, fuck that!
