Ten U.S. troops were killed in Iraq on Tuesday, one of the bloodiest days of the war for American forces outside of major combat operations. With nearly two full weeks to go until the end of October, the month is proving to be devastatingly lethal for both U.S. forces and Iraq’s military and civilian populations.
At least 68 U.S. troops were killed in the first 2 1/2 weeks of October, according to independent databases and wire service counts; last month, 75 American military personnel were killed.
10 troops or 3,000 troops, Dick Cheney and Bush do not care. But you’d think they could be a little realistic for a change.
Why isn’t the media ALL OVER Chaney for one of the most inaccurate and downright DELUSIONAL utterances ever made by a member of the Executive Branch?
We are doing remarkably well in Iraq, especially when compared to the horror of living in Los Angeles County. You guys just can’t get over your partisan Bush hate to see it.
The Rush Limbaugh show is an appropriate venue to spew misinformation. Cheney felt right at home.

If terrorists are buying WMDs with the Iraqi oil they have siphoned, they are buying them from Pakistan, Russia, or North Korea. Sadly, Cameron has reminded all of us LIBS that it is only the Conservatives who believe in America and fight for our freedom. It’s shameful, really, how the military recruiters ignore poor people and minorities and swarm like killer bees on the privileged white children of suburban conservatives. Damn them! Damn those recruiters all to Hell for not giving more liberals the opportunity to die in some unnecessary illegal war.
Perhaps Cameron can lead us in the fight to change our policies and one day we’ll have a military that isn’t so white, so rich, and so conservative.

I t never ceases to amaze me how the right wing can convince otherwise sane, intelligent people to vote against their own best interests.
If, Cameron actually is a cop, you’d think he’d know who keeps underfunding police operations. Who keeps making cops’ job harder by not adequately addressing or funding security issues at the ports, chemical plants, borders, etc… You’d think he’d recognize lip service when he sees/hears it, or is he another tunnel visioned neo-con who can only see the “lip service” Clinton got?
Do you think he ever wonders where they get their funding from now? Hint* our allies the Saudis, you know, the ones who made up the majority of the 9/11 terrorists.
