The foley affair has absolutely illuminated the depths of your and the demoncratic parties hypocrisy. The man was EMAILING a person who is “of age” for sexual consent! He then, IMMEDIATELY resigned from congress! Lets contrast that with Clenis or Gerry Studds shall we?
Amazingly and coincedentally enough, all this comes out just weeks before the election. Similarly, lefties are crowing about Allen’s not declaring stock options from a decade ago, stock options that are worth less today than when they where issued.

Here is the good news for you and your leftist fellow travelers: The republican base is pissed off and is staying home this year. Between immigration, McCain/Feingold and other assorted indignities I would say republican will be staying home in droves.

More to the point though, I am hoping for a clean democratic sweep. I want to see both house and senate with a big D. Currently we have a economy growing at a very consistent and healthy rate, low inflation, high tax receivables after a tax cut (amazing eh, Reagan was right…) and dropping fuel prices.
It will be a lot of fun to watch pelosi and company ruin it all in time for the big enchilada in ’08.
As I said before, if the demos can’t pull out a midterm, second presidential term election after all the dirty tricks etc, they should just throw in the towel. but here is hoping they pull it out to give america something to compare to and give the republicans the white house in ’08…again
