Hang In There, Denny & Co.

Dennis Hastert hanging on to his job is probably one of the best developments for Democratic prospects this fall.

Two-thirds of Americans aware of the congressional-page sex scandal believe Republican leaders tried to cover it up — and one quarter of them say the affair makes them less likely to vote for G.O.P. candidates in their districts come November. Those are among the findings of a new TIME poll conducted this week among 1,002 randomly-selected voting-age Americans.

NRCC chief and Foley hush-money man Tom Reynolds is now down in two polls in NY-26.

Man, Denny Hastert is doing more for us than I ever could have imagined. Add to that the Dems are FINALLY fighting back. Did you see Harold Ford Jr’s retort to the Republican race-baiting ads showing him with Playboy bunnies?

“I’m not going to take a lecture on morality from a party that took hush money from a child predator.”

Not to mention Pelosi pwning Denny this afternoon by blocking the Louis Freeh whitewash.

Ignore Sam, Oliver, he/she is not worth the keystrokes.

The way Sam says that is just creepy, Oliver. Liie he’s masturbating at the thought of you eating a carrot or something. Were you one of his congressional pages or something?

Oh poo poo, little Sammy….Did you get loose again? I made that appointment you asked for, you are meeting with Mister Foley tomorrow at 3pm. He was so exited when I called him, he said that he was looking forward to seeing you again. He is such a nice man, I am glad he is willing to look after you while I work. I am confused though, he kept saying he wanted to pour you a nice stiff drink, wonder what he meant by that? Oh well, I know how you like seeing him, so I will drop you off later.

OT, but I was wondering what became of Frank, who used to post comments here and had a Condi Rice fetish. Anyone know?

  6. Wow. I really, really wish I hadn’t clicked that. I much prefer arguing with faceless, anonymous screen names. Remember when Frank was threatening to beat people up? I liked that Frank better. Maybe I should ask him for a myspace add.

  7. Also, it’s pretty wild that Frank’s number one enemy is liberals, given his professional therapy work. How does slavishly working for the GOP help the transgendered, one wonders.

  8. factcheck says:

I don’t know if he would add you dr, unless you’re a blonde with big tits or a guy made up to look like a blonde with big tits.

That is one of those truth is stranger than fantasy stories, huh?

  9. Duros62 says:

Once again, Frank is a shining example of “do-as-i-say, not-as-i-do” morality from the right.

Conservatism requires residence in Bizzarro World.

  10. factcheck says:

Maybe that, maybe the self-hating nature of cons. They rail against teh gay and come to find out they are gay. They rail against TG and turns out in the dark they date them.

  11. Nimrod Gently says:

Wait, is that actually Frank? Last time that link showed up I figured it was a joke at his expense.

  12. factcheck says:

I’m not that creative (or cruel) to have that be a joke.
