Republican Pedophile Scandal: The FBI Comes In

Not only did senior Republican figures know about Mark Foley’s predatory behavior towards young boys, but they did nothing for years. It’s the ultimate power grab by the right – they were faced by a decision: stop a sexual predator or hold on to their majority. They chose the latter, and now it is coming back to hurt them. It appears now that the FBI has to be called in to investigate this behavior.

    Hey, look at that exchange between Sheppard Smith and Bill Kristol that’s making the rounds. Between changing course and doing the right thing in Iraq before the election and the possible political downside of admitting they made mistakes, the Republicans, Bush in particular, have chosen to do nothing to stay in power. Same behavior different issue. The Republicans put their own majority over the right thing for the American people. Way to go guys.
