And the natural corallary is "The GOP let the mass murderer bin Laden get away. Don't reward them for failure. American blood screams for justice." I don't see how the Democrats think the current strategy of whining about "mismanagement" and "misleading" us can be expected to win. The DC Democrats agree with the Bush anti-terror program.

I just can't figure how they can sell such crap. It's fail on 9-11, can't catch Osama bin Laden, Can't successfully occupy countries including one that we have no business being in, piss off our allies time and time again, drive those who aren't our allies into stronger opposition (like China), fail to prepare the country for disasters, mock international cooperation, mock the law enforcement side of it because they can't successfully convict anyone, until they get Kangaroo Courts that rely on Torture. Recap: fucked up 9-11, fucked up Afghanistan, Fucked up Iraq, fucked up Katrina, Torture. Oh and throw a lot of money at politically connected contractors and give jobs to politically connected hacks. So let's add Corruption and Cronyism to the recap as well.
