Tone Deaf Black Republicans Once Again Show How Out Of Touch They Are

This would be funny if it wasn’t so insulting. Who bets that these black Republicans have very few actual black people behind them?

The push was evident in a Baltimore radio advertisement targeting African American listeners that was sponsored by the Washington-based National Black Republican Association. The ad identifies Martin Luther King Jr. as a Republican and pins the founding of the Ku Klux Klan on Democrats.

Their chosen one, Michael Steele was for this ad campaign

In an interview yesterday, Steele said he had not heard the 60-second spot but said he generally does not oppose Republican efforts to assert their “real place in history.”

Before he was against it.

Today, though, his campaign released a statement blasting the ad.

Black Republicans, once again asserting their place in the short bus of political discourse.

[T]hough the invited Rush Limbaugh did not attend – Oxycontin or Bush? The choices we face!

    Touche, Oliver! Touche.

  2. The charges being made by the “black Republicans” are false. Rush Limbaugh has been busted numerous times for his addiction to Oxycontin, at a time when he held himself as morally superior to even God.

  3. Rove says:

Perhaps Michael Steele would like to brag how the republicans beat the democrat Southerners in the Republican War of Northern Aggression. After all, the democrats that started the KKK were Southerners…

  4. Honesty, integrity and a persuasive mentality are the most important qualities of an elected official
