In their endorsement of the conservative, right-wing Michael Steele and Bob Ehrlich, the Washington Times undercuts Steele’s laughable claims that he will be any sort of independent check and balance should he be elected.
But the reality is that historically Maryland has been a blue state that usually elects liberal Democrats; by contrast, Mr. Steele, unlike Messrs. Cardin and Mfume, will likely vote with conservatives on some of the critical issues of the day.
That’s right, Washington Times. Steele is out of step with Maryland, and will be just another right-wing rubber stamp should we be unfortunate enough to have him as our senator.
Oliver,
You keep on attacking Steele but give me no reason to vote for Cardin or O’Malley.
Cardin, Mfume and O’Malley represent the mainstream of Maryland. They are in favor of the middle class, and are against taking our eye of off the terrorist threat. They don’t believe in continuing an occupation of Iraq thats making us less safe and cutting taxes for the super-rich to increase the deficit to record levels.
I know Howard Dean is in there somewhere … Howard!!
Is that the latest talking points memo Dean sent to MM?
It’s like talking to a living a-hole.
It’s nice to know mainstream Marylanders support fathering 8 illegitimate kids.
Cryus, you mean at least 8. There may be a few we don’t know about yet.
