The MSM: Just The Right’s Latest Battered Wife

For some time, the way the Democratic party has reacted to the right has been akin to a battered wife. They call us terrorists, appeasers, and worse yet there are some Democrats who want to “go back” to some mythical era of bipartisanship that never existed. In the mainstream press, this bizarre “why don’t you love me?” mindset also exists. Witness Rush Limbaugh saying Katie Couric should be hit by a bus, then a few days later CBS Evening News begs him to come on unopposed to spew propaganda.

They’re never going to love you, no matter how hard you try.

    Wrong question, OW.

CBS is having Limbaugh on for a 90-second “Free Speech” segment.

The relevant question is: Who else will be invited?

Damn Conservatives. What right do they have to speak?

Yeah, it really is too bad that Rush has no venue for expressing his views.

Maybe he can get a spot on Phil Donanhue’s show.

I think the fact that Rush demanded there be no refutation of his “segment” should tell you all you need to know about Rush, and GOP ideology in general.

There’s no defense for the indefensible.

Up first, Morgan Spurlock, a lefty polemist.

Hmmm. What makes him a “lefty polemist”?

Where exactly does Limbaugh say Couric “should be hit by a bus”?

    O’Dub,

But it’s okay for Clenis, Spurlock, etc to go unopposed?

Hmmm. Super Size Me. 30 Days. The Republican War on Science.

And yet, Spurlock went on decrying partisanship. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that the pill popping torture supporting racist will not do the same.

Decrying partisanship? That’s his JOB for crying out loud! If he were practicing what he preached, he’d have denounced himself.

I see what farris is saying Oliver. Promoting good health and fighting racism and xenophobia are CLEARLY leftist traits! He must be stopped!

    Oliver,

Come on, I know that you know better. Spurlock is a liberal shill.

What about the open border author on tonight’s show?

    Huh? huh?
