Michael Rosen, writing at the lobbyist-connected TCS Daily (where Instapundit Glenn Reynolds also draws pay) is upset at his fellow Jews for being consistent Democratic voters. His line of argument?
Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote that “a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.” If this is true in politics, many of my fellow American Jews have smaller minds than they think.
They’re fools, according to him. This is so much like the line from the right about blacks being dumb for being consistently Democratic.
Then again, when this guy is the Republican base I guess you would see everyone else as a dummy.
