On the way to the Democratic majority in the senate, apparently the Democratic brand is so strong it can’t be contained. Witness the surge from Democratic candidate Ned Lamont in not one but two polls over independent, deposed Democrat, Joe Lieberman.

Once Lieberman’s behind, how’s he going to build support? The lower he gets, the more national Dems are going to come out against him, and the more he’s going to need GOP support and money. But whatever he gets from them is going to hurt him with independents (who are mainly anti-Iraq War) and Dems. So how can he win this?
Yes, please RNC, dig your hole deeper by giving money to Joe.
Neither of those polls show Lamont surging “over” Lieberman yet. In both of those polls Lamont is shown as behind, but in a “statistic dead heat.” Yeah, the surge is nice, but you don’t have to exaggerate. It will come.
