The Harris Campaign Marches On

Katherine “Cruella” Harris is down by a massive 35% to Bill “I Went Into Space” Nelson.

The lesson? Do not mess with a man who went to space.

Only one sitting Democratic senator has a lower ADA rating than Nelson. (He’s really not much different than Linc Chaffee.) As your party ideological purge continues, how long before he becomes a non-person?

  2. Of course, your whole purge frame goes out the window when you realize most Dems support Nelson, while at the same time Lincoln Chaffee is being purged from the GOP for not toeing the line enough.

  3. Duros62 says:

I really don’t think the term “purge” is accurate or even appropriate. No one is being sent to Gulags or being “disappeared.”
Regressives should stop using that term.
You call it a purge. I call it Democracy in action.

  4. Dugger says:

You know what, Duros. It really isn’t a Soviet style purge. And, you’re right, it is democratic. Lets see how the American people regard it. And if you/they win, lets here how the millionaire Ned Lamonts of the world will really fight the WOT – when vague platitudes won’t cut it. Bush-hate is very, very fashionable in the elite northeast and Hollywood, but you can’t run a country on that ‘ideal’.

  5. Lantern Bearer says:

Sorry. Ms Harris is an unstable rich girl who is able finance her own way into infamy. The campaign she is running is one of vanity and petulance. She is an embarrassment to her party and her constituents.

She was a handy tool for election thieves and now maintains a sense of entitlement.

Her politically criminal connections are hardly clandestine.

She has no sense of propriety beyond ravaging individualism.

Prosecution is in the wings. It will probably be at the direction of a Republican Attorney Genaral.

    People ain’t exactly ape-shit about Bush’s job either…

  7. Yeah, nowadays the “elite northeast” is just about every state but Utah.

  8. Duros62 says:

but you can’t run a country on that ‘ideal’.

How’s that neocon ideal workin’ out for ya?
Regressives have been calling it a purge. It isn’t, OK?
    Enough with the bullshit already.

  9. Duros62 says:

lets here(sic) how the millionaire Ned Lamonts of the world will really fight the WOT – when vague platitudes won’t cut it.
Vague platitudes? Isn’t that what we have now? Calling Democrats terrorist sympathizers isn’t a platitude?
The WOT will be more effectively fought with intelligence and police-work, as the British have successfully and dramatically pointed out. You can’t fight an “ideal” with bunker busters. Didn’t work in Vietnam, ain’t gonna work now.

  10. Dugger says:

    duros66,

I deeply resent that ‘sic’. I know I have a typing problem. Counseling hasn’t helped. I thought I had it cured and -now – a ‘sic’.

Anyway. Sure the Bushies and all politicians engage in vague platitudes. But the difference is, Bush has done something, something a bi-partisan Congress authorized. Exactly what is the Democratic plan to fight the WOT – other than they hate Bush?

  11. Duros62 says:

Yes, Bush has done something. Something that a majority of the country regrets, including many of his supporters.
What is the Democratic plan? How the hell should I know? I don’t get invited to those meetings. I do feel confident that whatever it is, it’ll be more measured and thought out than just storming in and shooting stuff.

i apologize about the sic. Stay on the program, man.
