A Boost For Sherrod Brown?

3:46 pm EST August 9th, 2006 | Politics | 7 Comments

In a crocodile-teared lament for what we’ve “lost” as a result of Joe Lieberman losing last night, GOP chairman Ken Mehlman may have helped put some nails in Mike DeWine’s coffin.

Sherrod Brown is Ohio’s answer to Ned Lamont.

I can take this only to mean that Sherrod Brown will win by at least 52% like the aforementioned Ned Lamont.

Also, look for this new idiotic soundbite to echo through the con’s universe: “Today’s Democrat Party has become the Defeat-ocrat Party.” Um, whatever. You guys sent 2,400 Americans to die for “victory” while allowing the murderer of 3,000 civilians to roam free. You can “win”, if those are the terms of the debate. Jackass.

    1. I’ll grant Sherrod Brown will probably pick up at least 52% in the Democratic primary.

    2. Osama “roams free”?!? He can just stroll on down Main Street USA at any time of day? Only in “reality” land…

  2. So he’s been caught “dead or alive” then? An alive and uncaptured Bin Laden is a free Bin Laden.

You were saying something about false choices?

    Jesus Christ, Farris. Jesus Christ.

I guess Farris epitomize the right’s mentality regarding OBL. Not being able to walk freely down Main Street is the same as being caught and brought to justice. Yet Save has absolutely NO idea where the man roams. He very well could be on some Main Street in Middle USA for all we know.

And for all this administration cares.

  7. Zython says:

Oh, I got an even better one.

Even assuming OBL is “confined’, he can still orgainze and fund more terrorist attacks. And that puts us back where we started.
