’)If Bush doesn’t want to be president, he should just step down. I don’t think it’s presidential tradition to just take days off when the world is erupting in war. It’s this sort of neglectful approach to leadership that left him asleep at the wheel during 9/11, the Iraq War, and Katrina. He doesn’t suffer. But America does.
He doesn’t like being President — he likes playing President. Speeches and bands and salutes and stuff like that are way cool.
But meetings and briefings and work and all that are, like, mad boring.
And pig roasts. He do love the pig roasts.
Time for him to pose for that 2007 GOP calendar a-drivin’ in his pickup.
