I Too, Hate

This is only going to make sense if you live/work in the Metro DC/MD/VA area, but I too seriously hate the new woman’s voice on the Metro.

“Dingy-dingy STAND BACK, DOORS CLOSING”

Shut. Up.

    It’s especially annoying to hear when you’re attempting to bolt down the escalator and grab the metro (with slow-asses blocking the left side)…

    Randi gets a little exasperated when it’s time to ask me to move to the center of the car. I can’t say that I blame her. She’s probably seen me; she knows I’m a perennial offender. She’s tried being nice, but if this keeps up there are going to have to be consequences, buster.
