It&#039;s standard practice, in my observation at least, for office holders and candidates to NOT mention party affiliation on their websites.  Other examples are easy to find...for example the website of prominant Maryland Democrat &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.martinomalley.com/about&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Martin O&#039;Malley.&lt;/a&gt;  I&#039;m a little surprised you didn&#039;t turn that up in your research.
