Had they not been there for him he may have gotten off the right path and may have ended up somewhere else, possibly 'testing the waters' himself. Do you actually think he fears gay people or do you think he fears the consequences of their actions? I think it's safe to say that EVERYTHING, be it good or bad carries a consequence. I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that he actually loves gay people, because he's actually commanded to do so, but hates the unparented, unguided choices that they make. Oh but wait, not everyone comes off the same boat so I can't make assumption. Hmm... 1 Corinthians 6:9 9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders Romans 1:24-25 24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator who is forever praised. Amen. I guess we could conveniently ignore that statement and go on with our lives, but what if you're wrong? If you don't inherit the kingdom of God, then what shall one inherit? Here's your shot at getting it right, choose wisely. I think he's actually afraid that gay people are just going to beat him up. ...god how damn cool would that be if it actually happened?
