The “Fox News Alerts” are talked about in OUTFOXED a lot. They were originally made for emergency news, and they had another graphic for the less-emergency cases.
But when your network is built on producing fear and controlling the people ala 1984, then little wonder of the news alerts.
During the invasion of Iraq I actually wrote an email to Fox to complain about the ridiculous, redundant news alerts. While I was writing the email, there were THREE MORE alerts.
