Oh I Do Declare Mr. Beauregard!
A NY Times reporter has made the sin of refusing to submit to a rectal exam by partisan talk host Hugh Hewitt. The indignity of it all, a shame on his house! Bold vanguard of the status quo Hugh asks:
Does anyone in MSM have the courage and the skills to ask whether Eric Lichtblau is a partisan anti-Bush/GOP hack dressed up as a “journalist,” willing to write stories that assist terrorists so long as they hurt Republicans?”
Only brave Hewitt has the gonads. Will nobody speak up for the majority? Freedom, where art thou?

It funny to me that you mention Hugh Hewitt, because I consider and Hugh as cut from the very same cloth, but just on opposite sides, except for the fact Hugh as a law degree, and researchers and actual government experience in both the executive and judicial branch, and- O.K. You’re not that alike. But you both can hype for your party like nobody’s business.
Oh yeah- I forgot. You do have researchers over there at Media Matters.
Well Hewitt does have a law degree, yet somehow is dumber than lowly old me. How does that happen?
It’s hard to compare your intellect, since you rarely step out of the bomb throwing role you like to play, whereas Hewitt actually uses his skills in interviews and analysis- especially in legal analysis. When you do actually write something thoughtful, you are quite impressive too, but it is few an far between.
You both tend toward hyperbolic use of the language though. That’s what makes you both so entertaining.
Actually Hewitt is a terrible interviewer. A real interviewer doesnt spend the entire interview trying to get the subject to agree with him.
