That IS the same CIA that said iraq was all full up with WMD’s right? So now their “strategic analysis” is good?

    Yea, I thought so….

There’s no way you’re a doctor. Just admit it, you’re a high schooler. There’s no shame in it, Pedro. In fact, I think it’s great that you’re so interested in politics at your age. What’s your myspace page? Are you into Dane Cook too?

  3. It was the same CIA who told Cheney and his boys he was full of it about WMD and were ignored because, well, Jr. had an election to win.

. . . while Republicans get to take a tough-on-terrorists stance. (which, btw, does REALLY well at the polls.)

It s only the charade of being tough on terrorists. Bin Laden wanted bush to win in 2004.

Bin Laden wanted bush to win in 2004.

The only way this makes any sense is if you have actionable intelligence that shows Osama currently in Okinawa.

    .
So farris has aligned himself with OBL.

Pay attention much pedro? The CIA had serious doubts about Iraq which is why Cheney and Rumsfeld set up their own intelligence operation in the Pentagon to manufacture the intelligence that led us to war. Watch Frontlines recent doc on Cheney’s role in the lead up to the war, The Dark Side. Tenet threw up everything the CIA had on Iraq and even Bush responded: “I’ve been told all this intelligence about having WMD, and this is the best we’ve got?” Everything the CIA rejected — mobile weapons labs, Hussein’s links to Al-Qaeda, vast stockpiles of WMD, Niger, aluminum tubes — was all dug back up and pushed by Cheney and his operation in the Pentagon. Hilariously, I bet you still believe all this shit was true. Sometimes you guys are like relentlessly stupid.

I think the GOP/WH talking point is

“I don’t think anyone could have anticipated there would be a strong insurgency after the fall of Saddam.”

  9. frameone says:

“Invasions in force have a tendency to mobilize opposition against them.”

Hilarious. And we didn’t expect an insurgency in Iraq why?

  10. Frank_D says:

Anyone interested in why we haven’t caught Osama?

I don’t think anyone could have anticipated that we would feel full after lunch.

  12. moonbat monitor says:

don’t know about that. I think Osama would have been down with Kerry and his “more sensitive” war on terror. You know, trials for gitmo thugs and everything.

  13. Frank_D says:

m m: You really think there would have been terrorists kept at Gitmo?
Why not SRO Hotels with furloughs?

  14. frameone says:

“I don t think anyone could have anticipated that we would feel full after lunch.”

    LOL

One thing for sure. Bin Laden is not, has never been, and, contrary to the baloney dished out by this administration, there was no link with Saddam Hussein. Could one of the reasons be that the majority of our troops are bogged down in a civil war in a place that had nothing to do with him? Oh no, this administration cannot possibly be that incompetent.
