The conventional wisdom was that Ehrlich was going to sign up a black Democrat as his running mate. The CW, as often is the case, is apparently wrong.
Ehrlich will choose Kristen Cox, the current Secretary of the Department of Disabilities, as his lieutenant governor. Cox, who is almost completely blind, will be named by the governor in Annapolis on Thursday.
Ms. Cox has apparently done admirable work, but putting a former Bush administration official on the ticket doesn’t exactly seem to have the bipartisan tone Ehrlich has been talking endlessly about.
Oliver, why do you hate the disabled?
Who would you have suggested he put on the ticket that would have pleased your need for the proper bi-partisan tone? And WHOSE conventional wisdom? And how would it have affected your vote, Oliver? You would have been much more strong in your criticism if Ehrlich would have chosen a Black Democrat (which is ironic.)
And she has “apparently” done admirable work?
Oliver Willis HATES the physically challenged and George W. Bush.
I don’t care who his running mate is, but the cw was that he was going to pick a black delegate democrat. And yes apparently. I don’t know her record. Anyone who works for Bush and then Ehrlich possibly has skeletons in the closet.
She graduated from Bringem Young.
Remember when several of the lefty commenters complained that conservatives never provide evidence to back up their assertions? Oliver, who was reporting that he was going to pick a black Democrat?
“HATES the physically challenged and George W. Bush”
Does having trouble eating a pretzel qualify as a physical challenge?
The Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun.
