So Ollie, is their personal life an issue or not? I thought you were chastising the media for making it an issue with Hillary weren’t you?

  2. TomY says:

Not to mention Bush was a cokehead who lied on his security clearance about it.

  3. DCPanic says:

I wonder if these men would lie to a grand jury, then have their wives claim it’s all a leftwing conspiracy?

  4. TomY says:

I think that if the media is going to be rooting around in personal lives, we better make sure they’re doing it to both sides and not just ours.

  5. DCPanic says:

They don’t hold a candle to Willy Clinton. The difference is, his wife doesn’t give a shit.

  6. Rheinhard says:

DCPanic – I’m willing to find out. How bout you? Let’s put em all under oath and start questioning them on their private lives. Heck, I’ll supply the popcorn!

  7. drpedro says:

It seems to me their “private lives”, aren’t.

The difference is they didn’t lie under oath about it.

You don’t like hypocrites eh ollie?

So you have been bashing ol’e senator reid about those front row seats at the fights, right? I mean, culture of corruption and all. The republicans saw fit to PAY for their seats you know?

Oh by the way, no snark about our missile defense system now? Might get a chance to get ahead of the curve if we miss with the imminent N. Korean launch! Oooooh, but what if we DON’T miss…….!

  8. SaveFarris says:

Nice to see that the Left doesn’t subscribe to the Politics of Personal Destruction.

  9. I subscribe as well when hypocrites are involved.

  10. Sundown says:

If things were right, Gingrich would be most heavily criticized, as he is the most strongly opposed to same-sex marriages using that whole meme of “it denigrates marriage”. Honest conservatives would be ashamed of him for this double-standard, and would not be supporting him at all in his presidental fantasy.

Of course, just as I have predicted, right-wingers are trying to change the subject. Never mind that Gingrich left his wife when she was recovering from illness in the hospital, because Clinton lied under oath about consentual, albeit adulterous sex.

  11. Sen. Reid legitimately got tickets. David Safavian is going to jail, Duke Cunningham is in jail, as is Jack Abramoff. Otherwise “just the same”. And the mythical missile defense is rolled out, I’m sure itll be hailed as a success… like the PATRIOT system.

  12. Rounds77 says:

In addition: The caption can read: “Do you think this guy will do any better interpreting intelligence?”

  13. Frank_D says:

I think Gingrich was added to the list to add some “zing” to the article. He’s realy not in the running for the Pesidency.
Not like Brownback, Frist, or Romney, who were left out (I wonder why?)

  14. z_adura says:

Gingrich, McCain and Giuliani are strong advocates of the quantity rather than the quality of marriage.

  15. Rounds77 says:

Let’s leave Frist in. We’ll “Terry Schiavo” him just like Kerry got swift boated. We’ll just juxtapose Terry’s autopsy report with Frist’s “analysis” after viewing the video of her smiling at a balloon. I’ll get popcorn for that.

  16. Frank_D says:

Rounds77: Which of course had zero to do with marriage, the topic.

:) But when Frank draws similar analogies, we’re all meant to sit up and LISTEN!

  18. buma says:

frank, tell us all about marriage. Go ahead and use your own as an example.

  19. Frank_D says:

Classy, buma. Your Mama would be proud.
