Because for all of Washington D.C.’s faults, I have yet to worry about an IED blowing me up on the way from the Metro station to work and back. “Idiots” is putting it in the nicest term possible.

    You also would not have to worry about your windshield being shot out while you were rushing your pregnant sister to the hospital, right? See how lucky you are to live in DC!

    Depends on what kind of crimes are being considered as part of the data. If we add GOP malfesance to the DC crime blotters, then Baghdad is, indeed, less crime-ridden.
